When approaching from the south on the A87, and on seeing Portree in the distance, look for a single-track road on the right. The signpost on the left has the following inscription, 'Am Bràighe' and 'Braes B883'. Follow this road until you reach a T-junction, where you will turn right. Continue along this road for about 5 miles (8 km) until you reach a sign at the foot of a steep hill. The sign on the left should read, 'Gead an t-Sàilleir' or 'Gedintailor'. Continue up the hill, and when you drive round the second bend, you will see three similar-looking houses on the right. The third one with the white fence is Ceol na Mara.
When approaching from Portree, after the Aros Centre on the right, a few miles farther on you will see a single-track road on the left signposted 'B883'. Follow this road and when you reach the crossroads at the top of the hill, turn right. You should still be on the B883. Continue along this road for about 5 miles (8 km) until you reach a sign at the foot of a steep hill. The sign on the left should read, 'Gead an t-Sàilleir' or 'Gedintailor'. Continue up the hill, then over the other side. Continue down towards the safety barrier on the left at the third bend, then as you go around the bend, you will see three similar-looking houses on the right. The third one with the white fence is Ceol na Mara
