Almondbank is a comfortable apartment with its own private entrance and off road parking. The apartment has stunning views of Loch Snizort and the Cuillins from the kitchen window. As Almondbank apartment is centrally located, it makes a relaxing drive to most parts of the Island. It is a ten minute drive from Portree and a twenty minute drive to Dunvegan Castle or the ferry terminal in Uig.
A warm welcome awaits you from Donald-John and Christina who have been providing a high standard of self-catering accommodation for over 20 years. Somebody will always be at home to welcome you on arrival. It is nice to know that the apartment will be warm and the lights will be on if you arrive late in the evening. Donald-John and Christina find that as Almondbank Apartment is well equipped, their guests have everything they require. People who wish to get away from it all are welcomed on arrival and wished a safe journey home on their departure. They are on hand to provide you with information or anything that you require.
If you want a total rest from travelling and choose to have a relaxing day at Almondbank Apartment, garden furniture is provided for you within the grounds. Skeabost House Hotel is a twenty minute stroll or a short drive. The hotel has a licensed cocktail bar, public bar, 9 hole golf course, fishing, billiards and Sky TV. The Hotel serves excellent lunches and evening meals.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob and double oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster and dining area. Kitchen towels are supplied for your convenience. Over the last 20 years Christina has tried to ensure that her guests feel that the kitchen is home from home. In the event that you require anything she will try her best to provide it for you. The opening hours and stock contained in the local supermarkets has been improving over the years and should be able to meet your requirements.
The lounge has two comfortable sofas, television with free view satellite channels, dvd, radio, cd and coal effect electric convector fire.
In the shower room there is an electric shower, wc, sink and a heated towel rail. A bath and hand towel is provided per person.
The double bedroom is prepared with duvet cover, bottom sheet and pillowcases, four pillows are supplied on the double bed. Both sides of the double bed have reading lights and cabinets. There is also a wardrobe and additional drawers.
In the twin room each bed is prepared with duvet cover, bottom sheet and pillowcases and two pillows. The bedroom has a wardrobe, dressing table, mirror and alarm clock. There is a reading light beside both beds.
In the Spacious hallway of Almondbank Apartment there is an electricity meter which is filled with 50p's for your arrival. Almondbank House supplies your hot water so the cost of electricity is minimal. There are excellent laundry facilities and you will find a washing machine, iron, ironing board and a clotheshorse. The spacious drying green to the rear of the house is available for your use.

£320.00 to £450.00 per week (Saturday to Saturday).
A deposit of £100.00 is required to confirm your booking. The balance should be paid 4 weeks before commencing your holiday. Cheques should be made payable to Christina Campbell.
Donald-John and Christina kindly request that guests arrive after 4.00 p.m. and leave before 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

From the Skye Bridge travel to Portree along the A87. From Portree follow the A87 towards Uig. Approximately four miles from Portree take the A850 road to Dunvegan at Borve junction. Almondbank House is situated on the A850 Portree to Dunvegan Road at Bernisdale, approx. 3 ½ miles from Borve Junction. Bernisdale has three entrances, Almondbank House is situated adjacent to the middle junction.
