Welcome to Witchwood House Self Catering, Kyleakin by Broadford,
Isle of Skye
Witchwood is a large Victorian town house, conveniently situated in the small fishing village of Kyleakin. The photo gallery gives some idea of the beautiful scenery all around. It is reputed that the house was built using stones from the ruins of nearby Castle Moil.
A stay at Witchwood combines the benefits of a traditional property, such as open fires, with modern conveniences such as Sky TV, double glazing and central heating. The spacious living and dining areas provide guests with the opportunity to relax in a pleasant and comfortable environment.
Witchwood was until recently a Visitscotland 'three star' bed and breakfast property, denoting a 'very good' quality rating. This standard has been maintained in its current use as a self catering property.
Local Facilities
Kyleakin has two village shops (one with wi-fi) and post office, plus a choice of places to eat and drink. Just across the (toll-free) Skye Bridge there is a wide range of facilities in Kyle of Lochalsh, including restuarants, pubs, leisure centre, post office, Co-op supermarket, pharmacy and health centre. Beyond Kyle is the picture-postcard village of Plockton, with its award winning restaurants and outstanding views.
