Welcome to Tigh Mhartainn bed and breakfast. Situated in the north of the Isle of Skye amongst the beautiful crofting area of Kilmuir. Tigh Mhartainn B&B is ideally placed for walking at the Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr, sea fishing at Staffin, Duntulum Castle, The Flodigarry Hotel (where Flora McDonald helped the Bonnie Prince Charlie to escape the English following his defeat at Culloden) and is only 6 miles to Uig Port for those visiting Harris and Lewis, and the Hebrides.
With Sea Views across the Atlantic to the front and the hills of the Quiraing to the rear, Tigh Mhartainn sits in a beautiful and peaceful area of the island where the warmest of welcomes awaits you.
Tigh Mhartainn is an old crofting house which has been extended and renovated over a period of time. The guests accommodation is in the original part of the building.
Accommodation
The guest area comprises of a living room with Sky Digital TV and open fire, breakfast room, and 2 double bedrooms which can be arranged as doubles or twins. Each room has a sink, storage and tea/coffee making facilities.
The bathroom is between the rooms and has a sink, W.C and shower.

Pets are allowed but only with prior arrangment.
Tariff/Prices
We don't charge extra for single travellers!
Single occupancy £35.00 per night including breakfast.
Double or Twin £35.00 per person per night including breakfast.
If you're travelling with little ones (under 3 years) a travel cot can be provided and there's no charge for the child.
Children between 3 and 10 years £17.50 per child per night including breakfast. Children over 10 years are charged as full rate.
If you have any special dietry requirements please tell us at time of booking.
No deposit required to make a reservation. At the end of your stay, payment is in cash only. We regret credit cards are not accepted.

Location - How to Find Us
Once on the Island head for Portree - take your time, the views are stunning! Once you hit Portree you have 2 options:
- The more scenic route is via Staffin. Take the A855, this road will take you past the Old Man of Storr and along the coastal road. Keep on this road for around 25 miles until you see the sign for Camus Mor (right) follow this and turn right past the ruined church, past the green barn and Tigh Mhartainn B&B is the next house on your left.
- The quicker route is via Uig. Take the A87 then take the signs to Staffin once in Uig. Look for Camus Mor. Take this left and then turn right after the ruined church. Past the green barn and Tigh Mhartainn B&B is the nest house on your left.
