Stratheyre is a family run home and a warm welcome awaits you in our self-build home which was built in 2002.
We are situated 4 miles north of Portree, our house is in the ideal location for touring Skye, we are 10 miles from Uig and 12 miles from Dunvegan.
As Stratheyre is situated in Central Skye, some of the main attractions the Island has to offer are close by. Attractions include the Trotternish Ridge which boasts the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing.
Stratheyre is also an ideal base for guests who wish to explore The Cuillin Ridge, Dunvegan Castle and gardens, and Flora MacDonald's monument. The list could go on!

We have two rooms en-suite (one family and one double). There is a lovely large garden with two patio seating areas and children's garden furniture for your use.

Location - How to Find Us
Take the A87 north leaving Portree signed for Uig for approximately 3 miles; at the first main junction take a left turn onto the A850 signed to Dunvegan and follow this road for 0.5 miles; take the first turning left onto a minor single track road, go over the cattle grid and we are the next house on the left.
