Shorefield House offers luxurious, spacious and homely ensuite bed and breakfast accommodation.
A family run business with a heart for customer care it is ideally located in a peaceful lochside village in north west Skye. Shorefield House enjoys lovely views down Loch Greshornish and beautiful long summer evening sunsets. Close to Dunvegan Castle and seal colony, the coral beaches and the Waternish peninsula and yet only 15 mins from the main town Portree.
A haven for wildlife - buzzards, herons and owls in the garden and ducks, geese and otters by the loch.

Facilities
There is a choice of 4 rooms - single/double/family suite and triple with king and superking size double beds. All rooms have TV and DVD, mini-fridge and hospitality tray, heated towel rails, hairdryer, soft fluffy white bath sheets and bathrobes. Free Wi-Fi Internet access in all rooms.
Also available is an Apartment for 2, which can be booked either on a bed and breakfast , or a self catering basis. Comprises a spacious ensuite twin/double superkingsize bed, TV and DVD, sunny lounge with TV, DVD and Hi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen with dining area.
The Locality
Your hosts Peter and Hilary are pleased to offer help with sightseeing, restaurant bookings and planning walks etc.
Within easy reach of excellent restaurants Loch Bay Seafood restaurant, the Three Chimneys and the Old School restaurant.
Shorefield House is a non-smoking establishment. Sorry no pets. Private parking is available.

Tariff/Prices
Bed & Breakfast: £40.00 - £50.00 per person per night. Minimum stay 2 nights.
Apartment: £90.00 - £125.00 per night.
Discounts for stays of 3 or more nights.
Deposits
Bed and Breakfast
A deposit of £50.00 is required as confirmation of booking. Payment can be made either by credit card or by UK cheque (most major credit cards accepted). A confirmed booking means acceptance of conditions.
Season
The B&B is available from April to October.
The Apartment is open all year round.
Breakfast
An award winning a la carte breakfast is served in the sunny conservatory. Breakfast choice is a continental style buffet, a traditional Scottish grill and a fisherman’s breakfast. Special diets are catered for where possible and there is also a children’s menu.

Location - How to Find Us
By Car: From the Skye Bridge and Mallaig follow the A87 trough Broadford to Portree. Leave Portree on the A87 to Uig. After 4.5 Miles (7km) turn left on the A850 to Dunvegan. Travel 10 miles (16km) to Edinbane. From the Uig ferry follow the A87 for approximately 10 miles (16km). Turn right on the A850 to Dunvegan and travel 10 miles (16km) to Edinbane. Shorefield house is adjacent to Edinbane Pottery.
Coach: Portree.
Train Station: Kyle of Lochalsh.
Airport: Inverness.
