Newly built Salento sits above the small fishing village of Kyleakin with stunning views over the sea to Kyle of Lochalsh with the Kintail mountains providing a breath-taking backdrop. Located just a two minute walk from the Skye bridge Salento is easily accessible and perfectly situated for visiting the rest of the island.
The picturesque village of Kyleakin has a number of bars and restaurants with live music most nights throughout the summer months. Whether your interests are walking, wildlife, sight-seeing or the fantastic, locally-caught seafood you will find plenty of attractions in this very special area.
Perfectly situated between the Cuillin Hills and the the Five Sisters of Kintail (15 miles from each), Salento Bed and Breakfast has a variety of nearby attractions and visitor hotspots and is an ideal base for climbers and walkers.
Accommodation
Salento has an abundance of natural picturesque surroundings, but inside is also clean, tidy and very well furnished.
The elegant, spacious bedrooms, each with their own shower room, are newly appointed with either sea or mountain views. We have double, twin and family rooms. Beautifully situated, Salento is also ideally located as a base for exploring the Isle of Skye as well as the west coast of mainland Scotland. During your stay we can offer you a range of cooked and continental breakfasts. Vegetarians welcome.

Location - How to Find Us
By Car
From Kyle of Lochalsh - Cross the Skye bridge and go straight over (second exit) the roundabout. This is Old Kyle Farm Road and Salento is 100 metres along the road on the right hand side.
From Broadford - Follow the A87 south towards the Skye bridge and take the third exit at the roundabout before the bridge.
By Rail
From the railway station in Kyle of Lochalsh follow the signs for the bus station. Take the shuttle bus service across the bridge and get off at the bus stop by the roundabout. Follow the second exit from the roundabout, Old Kyle Farm Road, and Salento is 100 metres along on the right hand side.
