Welcome to Lon Ban Self Catering Cottage, Carbost, Isle of Skye |
Lon Ban was completed in 2012 and has been graded to Four Star standards by VisitScotland. It is the fifth self-catering property set up and run by Ian and Dorothy, each one different. This house is just beyond the village of Carbost, on the road to Portnalong, well within walking distance to the distillery where the award winning Talisker Malt Whisky spirit is produced. There are wonderful views to Loch Harport and to the Cuillin Hills from the decking to the side of the house. The area abounds with wild life from the common seagulls to the Golden and Sea Eagles that nest in the area.

Location - How to Find Us
Once on the Isle follow the road for Portree. Look for signs to Talisker Distillery at Sligachan Hotel & turn left. Carry on this road until you see a second sign to the distillery in Carbost (B8009), then turn left again. Carry on through the village of Carbost past the distillery and up a hill where you will see a sign to Portnalong. Drive along this road past the recycling point and Lon Ban is the fifth house on the left.
