Lealt Falls House is on the beautiful Isle of Skye and set within its own grounds. It is situated on the Trotternish Peninsula, 12 miles from Portree, with stunning views over to the Trotternish Ridge and across the Minch to the Torridon Mountains and the Isle of Rona.
There is easy access to hill walking, boat & fishing trips, beaches and local attractions. For example, Lealt Water Fall and Gorge which is within walking distance. Also Kilt Rock, The Old Man of Storr, the stunning Trotternish Ridge and the Quiraing. We offer bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation, which is such a great way to travel, where you can really relax and have a rest between your discoveries and adventures. What better way to get to know the area than staying with local people. We can offer recommendations of activities and adventures and advise you on local trips and events.
Accommodation
Lealt Falls Houses offers two large comfortable double bedrooms. The first room has a king size bed and the second room has twin beds. Both rooms have flat screen TV's offering Freeview. Tea and coffee facilities are also included.

Both rooms have hairdryers, towels, and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms are light and spacious, with stunning views of the Trotternish Ridge and the sea. The accommodation has a private garden for guests to relax and take in the views.
We provide continental breakfast and a full Scottish breakfast. Packed lunches will be considered with prior notice at additional cost. We can also provide a travel cot for the bedroom. Private Parking.

Payment
We require a 20% deposit (non-refundable) on booking. Remainder to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival. Cheques to be made payable to Mr J. A. Gardner. We do not accept credit cards.
Location - How to Find Us
By Ferry
By vehicle ferry from Mallaig to Armadale. The summer ferry runs 6 or 7 times a day (including some Sundays at the height of the season) between Mallaig and Armadale. The winter service is limited to 2 journeys a day, weather permitting (Monday to Friday only). Journey time is approximatey 25 minutes. Vehicle reservation required. Bikes are carried free of charge. Leaving the ferry you will join the A851 which takes you to the A87 which you follow until you arrive at Portree. At Portree, pick up the sign for Staffin on the A855, follow this road for approximately 12 miles where you will find Lealt Falls House on your right.
By Road
From the Skye Bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. The Bridge enables you to drive over to Kyleakin on the southeast tip of Skye, which is 35 miles from Portree. The vehicle toll charges, which started in 1995, were abolished in December 2004. Once over the bridge turn right at the roundabout and follow the A87 to Portree. In Portree you will pick up the sign for Staffin on the A855, follow this road for approximately 12 miles passing the Old Man of Storr, Lealt Falls House has a sign outside the gate. If you pass a sign for ‘Lealt’ you have just passed the House. Turn around in Lealt Falls and Gorge car park (from here you can see the house situated at the top of the hill). It is an all white building consisting of a two-storey house and the four-bed bungalow, which is the holiday let.
