Visitors to Lealt Falls house will immediatley be impressed with the luxury and comfort of this accommodation. Situated 15 minutes north of the island's capital town of Portree it is very conveniently located and yet enjoys a truly spectacular rural setting with wonderful easterly sea and mountain views. Set in its own ground with plenty of parking.
The area also has many popular tourist spots close by including Lealt Falls, the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing mountain range and the Trotternish mountains. Just a 5 minute drive north you will find the village of Staffin and Staffin Bay with its sandy beach.
Accommodation
The house benefits from oil fired central heating and a multi fuel fire in the living room for those cosy evenings after a long day exploring.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, and a coffee maker CD/radio player for music whilst you cook. A country kitchen table and chairs is situated in the centre of the kitchen. The kitchen is also well stocked with cutlery, crockery, sausepans, glasses etc., for your use. A welcome basket and a wee dram is waiting for you upon your arrival.
The living room has spectacular views of the garden and out to the Atlantic sea and the mainland, and off to your left the tourist attraction of Lealt Falls and Gorge, all of which are viewed through floor to ceiling windows. There are very comfortable leather sofas, wide screen TV with some digital channels, Video and DVD player. The bookcases are full of books and films for your use.
The hallway has a cupboard where you can put your suitcases and extra coats, also you will find board games, iron and ironing board, hoover and highchair.
The bright bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin also a corner shower cubicle.
There are four good size bedrooms, 3 are fitted out with very comfortable king size beds and plenty of storage and the 1 twin bedded room. If you can tear yourself out of the cosy beds then all rooms have fabulous views of the breathtaking scenery.
Lealt Falls House is open for bookings 12 months of the year, 3 and 4 night breaks are welcome during low season. The house sleeps up to eight with a Cot and Highchair available.

Location - How to Find Us
There are a number of ways to travel to Skye, the most popular are:
Via the toll free Skye Bridge, then follow the A87 to Portree, follow the road through Portree where you will pick up signs for Staffin and the A855. Follow this road for approx 12 miles, you will see the Lealt Falls House sign on your right, just before Lealt Falls and Gorge tourist spot.
Via the Mallaig/Armadale ferry, follow the A851 until you reach the A87, turn left and follow this road until you reach Portree and follow directions as above.
