Kinnemond Cottage is situated in the crofting community of Colbost, Glendale. It enjoys a magnificent panoramic view along Loch Dunvegan stretching southward to the Cuillin mountain range, northward to the Isle of Harris and eastward across the loch to Dunvegan castle and beyond. The modern cottage, with its cosy comfortable ambiance, was carefully positioned to take advantage of the location and there are sea views from all except one of the rooms in the guest wing.
The guest wing is completely self-contained with its own entrance from the large garden and has three en-suite bedrooms (one with bath as well as shower), a living room and kitchen. It is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children but is also popular with couples wanting to be within walking distance of the famous Three Chimneys Restaurant.

There are two double bedrooms and one twin, each with a colour television and plenty of storage space. The living room has a dining area, easy chairs, library and the added luxury of an open fireplace. There is also central heating in all rooms for the colder months, heated towel rails and electric convector heaters for use as required. The kitchen has a gas cooker and hob, microwave, washing machine with dryer, refrigerator and all the usual cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
The use of the garden with its stream, ponds, flower beds and lawn is unrestricted and garden furniture is provided. There are binoculars and a telescope for watching wildlife from the picture window in the living room and maps, books of walks and local information leaflets for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits and sightseeing.
Kinnemond Cottage provides comfort and tranquillity in an outstanding setting and is an ideal base for short breaks or longer stays.
Tariff/Prices
£395.00 to £475.00 per week. Short Breaks (minimum of 3 nights) from £250.00.

Location - How to Find Us
From the Skye Bridge follow the A87 through Broadford and at Sligachan turn left on to B863 to Dunvegan. From Dunvegan take the B884 towards Glendale for 4.5 miles. DO NOT take the lane to Orbost near the beginning of this route, the Glendale road makes a 90 degree turn at this point so stay with it! Pass the Three Chimneys restaurant on your left and continue on the same road for half a mile until you reach a sign on left for the cottage, turn left up the hill and take the second driveway on the right.
