This traditional semi-detached stone cottage on the Isle of Skye is in a truly peaceful setting commanding stunning views over Loch Greshornish and the surrounding hills and glens.
Set on a 2500 acre working livestock farm, this former crofter’s cottage has been restored to provide well equipped and comfortable accommodation for all guests. Outdoor and fishing enthusiasts will enjoy taking advantage of the traditional wooden boats available for use on nearby Loch na Stàpaig, the owner’s private hill loch which is well-stocked with brown trout. Guests are also welcome to try their hand at fly fishing for wild salmon and trout in the Red Burn river.
The surrounding area has much to offer in the way of wildlife, take a look out the window to catch a glimpse of the renowned sea eagle or take a two minute stroll to the seashore to spot the illusive sea otter.
This charming island retreat provides an ideal base from which to experience the local Gàidhlig culture and discover Skye’s many visitor attractions, walk the hills, explore the spectacular coastline or simply relax and unwind in the tranquillity of the surroundings.
Accommodation
All accommodation is ground floor. There are two bed rooms: one double and one twin, both with sea views; a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining and sitting areas.

- Two well behaved pets welcome by prior arrangement.

- Smokers are requested to smoke outside the property
- Lets commence Saturday. Entry to the cottage is after 3.00 p.m.
- Short lets considered in winter months. email or telephone for further information.
- On day of departure the cottage must be vacated by 10.00 a.m.

Tariff/Prices
From £237 - £513 per week, depending on season.

Sat nav co-ordinates: N 57°28’52”; W 6°27’25”.
From the Skye Bridge, at the Kyleakin roundabout take the third exit onto the A87. Follow the road for 36 miles towards Portree. In Portree, at the first main junction turn left onto the A850 signposted Dunvegan. At the roundabout take the second exit towards Dunvegan. After approximately 3 miles bear left onto the A850 towards Edinbane and Dunvegan. After 11 miles, crossing the river Tora and the Red Burn, turn right signposted Greshornish. The Keeper’s Cottage is situated on the left after following the single track road for approximately 1 mile.
