Located by Portree Bay, Highfield sits in a beautiful and quiet location. It's only a five minute walk to Portree village centre. Boasting a beautiful and busy harbour, featuring a pier designed by Thomas Telford. Portree is Skye's largest town and is situated 36 miles from the only road from the mainland, via the Skye Bridge.
There are a range of activities such as hill walking, canoeing, windsurfing, ponytrekking, fishing, golf, bike rides, boat trips and ceilidhs, as well as a variety of famous attractions. These include Dunvegan Castle, Talisker Distillery and the Museum of Island Life.

Location - How to Find Us
The Calmac ferry from Mallaig to Armadale is a beautiful route, as is the Skye ferry which runs from Glenelg to Kylerhea (Easter to October).
The nearest airport is Inverness, where Citylink buses offer services to Portree. Other bus links include Glasgow, Fort William and many other Scottish destinations.
Driving over the Skye Bridge on the A87, follow signs to Portree. Highfield B&B is located on Seafield Place, just off Viewfield Road. Viewfield Road is the main road approaching the Village Centre of Portree, Seafield Place is the last right before Bridge Road (village centre).
From the Village Square (centre of Portree), Highfield is the first turning on the left (Seafield Place) off Viewfield Road.
