Gràsmhor Bed and Breakfast was built in 2006 and offers spacious, comfortable accommodation for visitors to the Isle of Skye. Conveniently located just 2 miles from the island's capital, Portree, Gràsmhor is situated in an open position with views on all sides. The ever changing vista can be viewed from all of the guest bedrooms, each one en-suite and with all the conveniences you would expect in your own home.
Being close to Portree allows you many options for your evening meals. The island's capital has a varied choice of places to eat, with numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs.
The Isle of Skye is famous for its dramatic landscape but can also offer an extensive range of activities to keep you occupied for the duration of your stay. For those with an active nature there is hill walking, climbing, golfing, to mention just a few.
For those wanting a more gentle experience, a trip around the island will give you a real feel for the glory that is the 'Misty Isle'. Dramatic scenery, traditional villages, local industry (see how our whisky is produced at the Talisker Distillery), local nature (including boat trips to see the seals and sea eagles) and the island's history The Skye Museum of Island Life and the Aros Experience are all options to keep you busy during your stay.
This is an ideal central location for you to be able to visit all that Skye has to offer.
All our guests have use of the large comfortable lounge to relax in after the day’s activities, which has a 32" LCD TV, a DVD player and a selection of films.
Meet your fellow guests at breakfast, share your experiences of the previous days and discuss what's next on your itinerary in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Facilities
All our bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and alarm clock.
Glengrasco Bedroom. A double room on the ground floor with king-sized bed. This room has a large en-suite with bath and shower over.
Woodend Bedroom. A double room upstairs with king-sized pine bed. This room has a large en-suite with bath and shower over.
Creag Bhan Bedroom. A twin room upstairs with maple-wood beds and superbly comfortable memory-foam mattresses. En-suite with single shower cubicle.
Gràsmhor is strictly non-smoking.
Guests are asked to arrive between 4.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. Rooms are not available before 4.30 p.m. but should you arrive on the island early your bags may be left at the house by prior arrangement. Should you be likely to arrive after 7.00 p.m. then please let us know in advance. Rooms should be vacated by no later that 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Tariff/Prices
£28.00 to £30.00 per person per night (Double occupancy of all rooms).
£15 per night Single person supplement.
10% discount for bookings of 4 nights or more.
For bookings of 1-3 nights a minimum deposit of £15 per person is required to confirm your reservation. For bookings of 4 nights or more we require a deposit of £25 per person.
Season
Open February to November (inclusive).
Location - How to Find Us
Once on the island head north for Portree. On approaching Portree town centre take the left turn on to the A87, signposted to Uig. After just 300 metres turn left on to the A885, signposted to Struan. After 2 miles you will see Gràsmhor off to your right. Take the next right turn down the track and Gràsmhor is the second property.
