This charming detached cottage occupies a truly tranquil position on the beautiful peninsula of Greshornish. Set on a private country estate and boasting stunning views over Loch Greshornish towards the sleepy hamlet of Edinbane, Florin Cottage offers well equipped and comfortable accommodation for all guests.
Surrounded by acres of picturesque, unspoilt countryside and home to a wonderful array of wildlife including otters, seals, red deer and eagles; Florin cottage is a walker’s and a wildlife lover’s paradise.
The remote yet accessible location make Florin perfectly placed for enjoying all Skye has to offer: remoteness, seclusion, dramatic natural beauty, romantic history, rugged coastline, bracing mountain walks and world-class restaurants. A short drive away is the village of Dunvegan with its famous castle and where a good selection of pubs, shops and restaurants can be found.
Relax on the cottage lawn with a glass of wine, enjoy a spot of fly fishing on the owner’s private hill loch or venture out on one of the many scenic walks that can be found from the doorstep. A holiday at Florin Cottage offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Accommodation
All accommodation is ground floor. There are three bed rooms: one double, one twin and one single; a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with wood burning stove.

- Two well behaved pets welcome by prior arrangement.

- Smokers are requested to smoke outside the property
- Lets commence Saturday. Entry to the cottage is after 3.00 p.m.
- Short lets considered in the winter months. email or telephone for further information.
- On day of departure the cottage must be vacated by 10.00 a.m.

Tariff/Prices
From £336 - £728 per week, depending on season.

Location - How to Find Us
From the Skye Bridge, at the Kyleakin roundabout take the third exit onto the A87. Follow the road for 36 miles towards Portree. In Portree, at the first main junction turn left onto the A850 signposted Dunvegan. At the roundabout take the second exit towards Dunvegan. After approximately 3 miles bear left onto the A850 towards Edinbane and Dunvegan. After 11 miles, crossing the river Tora and the Red Burn, turn right signposted Greshornish. Florin Cottage is situated on the right after following the single track road for approximately 1 mile.
