Welcome to Fisher’s Rock, Portree, Isle of Skye
Fisher’s Rock is in a peaceful location on the shores of Loch Portree. The house nestles on the bay where the old fishing community housing was situated. When the tide is low you can still see the old jetties where the fishermen plied their trade from the Royal Port (Port Righ in the Gaelic). Fisher's Rock overlooks the sea with views to the Braes and the Cuillins, the Isle of Raasay, the Applecross Mountains and Portree centre may all be seen from the garden area.
Nowadays this part of the Skye capital is an oasis of peace and tranquility, ten minutes from the bustling town centre with its shops, restaurants, pubs and most modern amenities.

Accommodation
The rooms here have been designed in peaceful white and provide a comfortable quality bed and fittings. There is a relaxing garden sitting area overlooking the stunning sea views. In the morning you can sit and relax on the deck overlooking the views with your coffee after a leisurely breakfast.

- Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, earl grey, herbal teas and Scottish shortbread.

There are no facilities for very young children.
Arrival from 4.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Please kindly telephone if you are arriving a little later so that I am here for your arrival.

Tariff/Prices
£30.00 to £32.00 per person per night. Sorry, but minimum stay of two nights.
At the end of your stay, payment can be made either in cash or by cheque. We regret credit cards are not accepted.

Whichever breakfast you choose, it is a hearty start to the day as many visitors have testified.
Location - How to Find Us
By Road
Upon arriving on the island via the Skye Bridge, follow the A87 to Portree (34 miles). When you first come into the village you will see the AROS centre on your left. Fishers Rock is on the right (on the seaward side of the road) 600 metres further on. Look out for our sign. If you come to the Petrol Station, you have gone too far and you can use this to turn back.
By Ferry/Road
From Armadale or Uig, follow signs to Portree. The rest is as above.
