A warm welcome awaits you at Fern Park B&B a traditional croft house situated in the township of Holmisdale, Glendale. Enjoy a relaxed break in this peaceful corner of north west Skye.
Glendale village has a new community hall, a local post office and cafe. Glendale is an excellent location for walking, wildlife and birdwatching with stunning coastal walks for walkers and is only a short distance from Dunvegan home of the famous Dunvegan Castle with it’s magical Fairy Flag and 40 minutes by car from Portree, the island’s capital.
The area boasts several excellent restaurants including the world famous Three Chimneys Restaurant (only a few minutes by car).
Bird and wildlife you might see includes sea eagle, golden eagle, buzzard, red deer and many other smaller birds. Whilst at sea you might catch a glimpse of minke whale, otter, dolphin and seals.

Breakfast Room
Modern very spacious Bathroom solely for guests
We are a working croft with livestock and prefer not to have dogs but may make some exceptions, please phone.
One double room, one twin room and one single room. There is a spacious modern bathroom solely for guests. Internet access is available and guests are welcome to use the musical equipment in the breakfast room, which is also well equipped with books, maps and games.
Full breakfast of your choice - enjoy the tranquil view of the glen as you choose from freshly squeezed juice, porridge, cereals, best quality bacon, sausage, free range eggs, and famous Stornoway black pudding followed by a pot of freshly ground coffee or tea.
Tariff/Prices
£20.00 to £25.00 per person per night (including breakfast).
Guests are requested to vacate rooms by 10.00 a.m. on morning of departure.

Location - How to Find Us
Cross the Skye Bridge and head west through Broadford onto the A87. Follow the road for approximately 23 miles until you reach Sligachan. At Sligachan, turn left onto the A863 to Dunvegan.
At roughly 1 mile before Dunvegan, turn left onto the road signposted for Glendale. This road branches right after about half a mile, (do not go straight on to Orbost) follow the road straight into Glendale - around 7 miles. You will pass Three Chimneys Restaurant, then Skye Silver on the way up the hill. As you come over the top of the hill, hopefully you will have a sunny day and should have a fantastic view of the Glen and out to the Western Isles. Come down the hill into the Glen and turn left at the shop/post office and follow this road for about half a mile. Our house is two houses past the Glendale Toy Museum and is right beside the road. Parking is either in front of the gate or opposite the house. There is a small sign on the gate saying Fern Park. All in all, your journey from the Skye Bridge to our house should take around 1 hour or maybe slightly longer if the roads are busy.
