Dun Flashadder Cottage is a traditional highland croft-house set in a charming, enclosed large garden. Inside it retains many original features, including exposed stone and wood-lined walls with open log/peat fire.
The cottage is located in the township of Flashader, a short walk from the shores of Loch Greshornish and eight miles from Dunvegan.
The cottage is available for weekly lets during the summer season and at Christmas and New Year, and for short breaks in November, January and February.

The cottage sleeps four people in one twin and one double room. Bathroom with bath and shower. It has a very comfortable sitting room with open fire and kitchen/dining room with log burning stove. Fuel should be bought from the local petrol station.

Night storage electric heating, open log or peat fire. Wood burning stove in kitchen/dining area.
Tariff/Prices
£250.00 to £575.00 per week.
(A deposit of £100 per week or £50 for short breaks must be paid within fourteen days.)

Open all year round.
Location - How to Find Us
As you come into Portree take the A850 to Dunvegan. After approximately 14 miles, you will arrive at the sign for Flashadder, the cottage is the first on the right, set down in its garden, opposite the bungalow with the red foundation stones.

The Garden & Locality
Portree, the main town of Skye, with its pretty harbour-bay, is a good place to stock up on supplies and on information from its excellent tourist office. Then head for the beautiful Waternish Peninsula. try the charming Stein Inn for excellent sea food and hearty beer. Nearby there is the Isle of Raasay, with its views back to Skye and to the mainland. The Otter Haven at Kylerhea, the Skye Museum of Island Life, Talisker Distillery, the Clan Donald Visitor Centre, the renowned Edinbane Pottery and An Tuireann Arts Centre will keep you occupied if you can’t face the challenges of the Cuillin or the Quiraing. The Whitewave Outdoor Centre offers Kayaking, wind surfing, archery and guided walks. Many shops, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions on the island are open seven days a week and most are open all year round.
