The cottage is set in Balmeanach (Gaelic translation 'middle town'), approximately 5 miles from Struan and 5 miles Dunvegan, on the shores of Loch Caroy (Gaelic translation 'red rock'). Set in beautiful countryside, with views of the Cuillins, MacLeod’s Tables and the unforgettable sunsets on Loch Caroy, this authentic cottage has all the makings for a holiday to treasure and one which you’ll never forget.

The accommodation at the cottage is of the highest standard. It has underfloor heating throughout - superb on bare feet! A peat burning stove sits in the fireplace of the living room, creating a relaxing environment for your romantic getaway. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, built in cooker and a microwave oven. Of course, if you don’t fancy cooking, there is an abundance of fantastic restaurants and bistros on the island to try.

The comfortable living area is on open plan with the kitchen, with the peat burning stove a key feature to this area. There is plenty to keep you occupied on wet days with ample books, DVDs and games. The flat screen TV is in keeping with the other luxury features of this outstanding cottage. Internet access and satellite TV is also available.
The bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage space for placing your belongings, helping you to settle in to your holiday accommodation. The bedroom is bright and airy, with two windows through which to take in the breathtaking scenery as you waken in the morning.
The bathroom is ‘an unexpected pleasure’ complete with a steam/shower cubicle (with built in radio) adding an extra luxury to this already captivating cottage. The stand alone bath is large enough for two to bathe in. Imagine soaking in a warm, deep bath, surrounded by candles, with a chilled glass of bubbly at the end of a busy day - pure indulgence whilst on holiday!
Outside the cottage is a BBQ, garden table and chairs for the use of our guests. Enjoy the panoramic evening sunsets from the front of the cottage - one of life’s unforgettable views.

Location - How to Find Us
If you come via the Skye Bridge stay on the A87 for about 20 miles until you reach Sligachan, where there is a hotel (The Sligachan Hotel) and campsite. Take a left onto the A863 Dunvegan road. Continue along this road through the village of Struan and on to Ose. One mile past, you will come to Caroy, there is a sign for the cottage on the main road, the cottage is on the right.
