A warm highland welcome awaits you at our beautifully renovated family croft house. We renovated and extended a traditional croft house in 2003 and have managed to modernize it without losing the Highland Croft House character. I have managed to weave some of my grandmothers antique furniture into the décor so the rooms have a traditional feel while being fresh and modern with a touch of luxury for the visitors to the Trotternish Peninsula of Skye. We are situated on a working croft in the quiet Gaelic speaking crofting village of Staffin. Staffin is 16 miles North of the capital Portree, 50 miles from the toll free bridge and a 20 minute drive to Uig ferry terminal.
Our home has stunning panoramic views of the Trotternish ridge from the The Old Man of Storr to the Quirang and along to Staffin Bay. Staffin is the ideal place for exploring the north end of Skye. There are various walks for all levels, spectacular scenery, loch fishing, boat trips and in nearby Kilmuir there is the Skye Museum of Island Life. There are a eating places in the village, two shops and an Internet Cafe.

Each room has T.V., Wi-Fi is available free of charge, tea/coffee making facilities, central heating, books and maps, hairdryers, views over the Trotternish Ridge. There is also an outdoor sitting area if the weather allows to enjoy the views and the fresh air!
There is a choice of continental or freshly cooked breakfast. Packed lunches available for those staying over at an extra cost. Drying room is available for all wet clothes and boots. Private Parking.

Location - How to Find Us
From Portree, follow the A855 To Staffin for 16 miles. When you arrive in Staffin take the 2nd entrance on the left just passed the welcome to Staffin 40 mph speed limit (opposite Skyelight Candles, church and bus shelter on the right hand side). Our B&B sign is at the road end, with a picture of the house. Drive along the road and we are the 300m on the right we have a sign at the end of our drive.
