Ardmore Self Catering - Scottish Tourist Board 5 star AccommodationArdmore is a stunning 3 bedroomed ( 2 en suite ) bungalow which has been designed, built and furnished to the highest standards. It fully deserves its 5 star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board (their highest award) and enjoys panoramic sea or mountain views from all rooms. It is quietly located in the village of Broadford and is within easy walking distance of local restaurants and pubs etc. Broadford the second largest village on Skye is an ideal centre from which to tour all of Skye and Wester Ross.

The owners, Anne and Ian Macmillan, live in the village and are on hand should visitors ever need their help or advice. A comprehensive set of Ordnance Survey maps, walking and touring guides is available free of charge to guests. Games, cards and a selection of books etc are provided just in case the weather is inclement. Linen, towels, fuel, electricity, WiFi and a welcome pack are all included in the rental charge.

Lounge - The lounge is spacious and from the bay window there are excellent views over the bay and Kinloch hills. It seats six people with ease and has a solid oak floor and a feature fireplace. For entertainment there is a 42 inch plasma television with surround sound and a supply of DVDs and CDs.

Bedrooms 1 & 2 - Both these double bedrooms have spacious en suite facilities and enjoy panoramic views over Broadford Bay and the red Cuillins. Bedroom 1 has a king size four poster bed. Bedroom 2 has a king size sleigh bed. Both rooms are supplied with hairdryers and flat screen tvs.

Bedroom 3 - Bedroom 3 is a twin room with magnificent views of the Red Cuillins. A hairdryer and flat screen tv are provided.

Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted out with quality solid wood units. The appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher) are Neff and all are integrated. There is also a microwave oven. A table and chairs are provided for those who wish to breakfast in the kitchen rather than in the formal dining room.

Dining Room - The dining room has French doors which open onto a large patio. A gas barbeque and garden furniture are provided for those who enjoy 'the great outdoors'.

Utility Room - The utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier.

Bathroom - The outstanding feature of the main bathroom is the roll top freestanding bath.


£550.00 to £1000.00 per week for up to 4 guests.
Additional guests up to a maximum of two are each liable to a nightly charge of £15-£20 depending on season.

Directions to "Ardmore"

As you enter Broadford coming from the Skye Bridge or the Mallaig/Armadale ferry you will see the Vet Practice and the Claymore Restaurant on your right. Opposite is a minor road signposted "Heaste". Turn into this road, go up the hill and "Ardmore" is the third house on your right.

Access to "Ardmore"

The keys to "Ardmore" can be found in the keysafe adjacent to the back door. Details of the entry code for the keysafe and instructions on how to operate it will be forwarded to guests shortly before the start of their rental.
