Aber View Cottage
Aber View is a luxurious semi-detached cottage for 4 people offering warm, spacious accommodation with a homely feel. It is situated in the lochside villageof Edinbane in north west Skye only 10 mins from Dunvegan, with its amenities and world famous Castle , and 15 mins from Portree, the Island’s main town.
In the village there are 2 small hotels for evening meals, the Edinbane Pottery where you can watch the potter at work on the wheel and a Stained Glass workshop. From the village you can walk either along the loch to hidden bays and waterfalls, or up the hill for spectacular views of Macleods Tables and the Cuillin hills.

Facilities
The accommodation comprises 2 well appointed en-suite bedrooms both with loch view. One room is a double with king size bed and the other a twin/double with superkingsize bed. Both rooms have TV & DVD, a minifridge and ensuite shower room with heated towel rail and hairdryer. All linen and towels and basic toiletries provided.
There is also a large wet room with space for cloaks and footwear.
The south facing lounge has a TV, DVD and Ipod docking system, a HiFi and two settees to relax into and enjoy a book or magazine from those provided. Games, maps and local information is also available.
The sunny kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and washer dryer. There is a cosy dining area in the kitchen.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout and each room also has individually operated wall mounted heaters. Outside there is a fenced garden with seats and sunloungers to relax in.
Aber View has Wi-Fi access throughout and is a non-smoking establishment. Sorry no pets. Private parking is available.

Arrival and Departure Times
The cottage is available from 4.00 p.m. on day of entry and should be vacated by 10.30 a.m. on day of departure.
Tariff/Prices
Cottage - From £549.00 - £849.00 per week.
Short breaks available. Min 3 nights from £260.00.
Bookings
To make a booking we ask for a deposit of £100.00 for the Cottage and then the balance should be paid in full, 8 weeks before the date of entry. We accept most major credit cards and UK cheques.

Self catering Apartment for up to 2 adults and 1 child.
The apartment has a large bedroom with a superking size double/twin bed and optional child's bed. It looks out over the front garden to Loch Greshornish where wonderful sunsets can be seen in the long summer evenings. The room has a TV, DVD and Ipod docking system and comfy armchairs. There is en-suite shower room with heated towel rail and harirdryer. All bed linen and towels are provided together with some main toiletries.
The lounge, which enjoys the morning sun, is equipped with TV, DVD and Ipod docking system, settees, chairs and a fire. Books, games and maps are provided.
The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and washer dryer and there is a dining area.
Centrally heated throughout. Storage space, drying area and second shower room.
Private parking available. No pets and non smoking throughout. Garden area with garden furniture.

Location - How to Find Us
By Car: From the Skye Bridge and Mallaig follow the A87 trough Broadford to Portree. Leave Portree on the A87 to Uig. After 4.5 Miles (7km) turn left on the A850 to Dunvegan. Travel 10 miles (16km) to Edinbane. From the Uig ferry follow the A87 for approximately 10 miles (16km). Turn right on the A850 to Dunvegan and travel 10 miles (16km) to Edinbane. Shorefield house is adjacent to Edinbane Pottery.
Coach: Portree.
Train Station: Kyle of Lochalsh.
Airport: Inverness.
